Late.

Huh, it's late. I need to go to bed. Nah. Not yet.

Webcomic, webcomic, webcomic.

Yay! My webcomic is finally starting up in earnest! (Sorry, it's not online yet, that's not what I meant.) What I meant was that the format has now been decided on, and I'm currently working on drawing it!
You see, I used to think that in order to draw a webcomic, I had to follow one of two forumlas: The first being the strip formula, that of a funny three or four panel gag, which sometimes follow a specific story about the main characters. The second and last, being the full page comic full of plot and interesting ideas and such, which goes on for a while, and then ends, it's plot and intrigue spent. But today, I suddenly realized, that there's another, completely untapped type of story, the Television Show story style: where you put your plots into little sections and stories that you call 'episodes' each separate from each other, excepting any continuous plots or ideas, and all with the same main characters.
Now, no one has ever tried doing a webcomic version of this, until now. But I really like the idea, so, here's hoping it'll work!

Who on Earth is this Mr. Olp?

If you've been reading this blog, I'm sure you've asked this question. Now, here's the moment, when I finally tell you! (Drum roll)

He's a fictional character I made up.

OH.

How boring.

No it isn't! Now shut up and listen!

Sorry.

He's a fictional character I made up in a novel I wrote. Now don't get all excited and rush off to the nearest Barnes and Noble, because it isn't published yet. I'm still working on editing and rewriting it. (Believe me, it's got a lot to rewrite.)
Anyhow, here's the (Current) paragraph from my novel where he's described:

'Then, out of the haze he came, singing a little tune as he did so, waving to the sleeping houses, which ignored him entirely. He was a curious looking man, with a weathered hat, a long, beaky nose and scraggly thin whiskers. In a large degree he strangely resembled an owl.'

Hmmm, so now we're beginning to get a picture of what this 'Olp' looks like. To finish this particular picture you're forming, I will show you a painting I made of him. Be warned: it's in a very surrealistic style. (It's easier to paint that way.)

In the book, Mr. Olp is a very strange individual who likes to act mysteriouly, is apparently in charge of some secret orginization (or maybe he just belongs to one) and keeps many deep and strange secrets. He continually acts off the wall, and says some of the most peculiar things. He drives a black car that looks like this:http://www.customclassicgto.com/images/customclassicgto/ACFPBO3DcyQi.jpg
(It's just a picture I found on the internet, I don't own, or know anybody who owns a car like that.)

Now, it may also interest you to know that there is, in fact, a real Mr. Olp, named Gary Gene Olp (Gary is also the name of my dad, which is kinda interesting) that I found while searching the name on the internet. Apparently he's an architect, interested in solar power and things like that. Here's a website which talks about him: http://www.ggoarchitects.com/gary.html

I do, however, reckon that this Gary Gene Olp, doesn't in fact, look in the least like an owl. (Grins)

Go Obama Go!

Yay for Obama!

I suppose this is actually kind of a strange thing for me to say, what with the fact I'm actually rather Republican in my Ideals, but hey, who doesn't like Obama? Besides McCain and Hillary, that is.

I mean, after all, what's wrong with having a President who can actually talk? Is there something about the title of President that means that he or she must not have the ability to speak well? Must all Presidential candidates be boring and insincere? Is there a reason politics has to be boring? I say NO!

Huh, this rant be much ranty. Maybe I should start my own talk show, like Michael Savage, or Rush Limbaugh. Then I can have a good excuse to rant loudly about my opinions. Unfortunately it wouldn't work, because I don't know much about politics and stuff, so any talk show I started would probably be smothered by my own lack of experience.

I'm hopelessly Blogless!

Minutes fly by. Hours fly by. Days fly by. Weeks fly by. Little gets done. Except school. And no blogging gets done.

The story of my life.

It's time for this to change! Down with the upholders of the Status Quo! Up with Change! Change you can believe in! It's time for things to get done! Time for Art to be drawn! Webcomics to be made and updated! Time for blogging to get done!! Time for Writing to be written! Time for everything that I want to do but never do to be done! Time for lots of Exclamation Points!! Time for minutes and hours and days and weeks to fly by with stuff actually getting done! Time for Obama to win this campaign and become president!! Time for Clinton to die! (Um, maybe just lose, that's a little less harsh). Time for the war in Irag to end! Time for this rant to end!
