I'm Back

Well, I'm back. The Oregon Trip was fun, we saw a couple movies while down there; the new Indiana Jones, and Prince Caspian (I'd already seen it but Dad and Cam hadn't).
I came back with several new books and a couple new soundtracks, and a copy of Batman Begins.
We almost got lost on the way; a huge rainstorm and a couple of trucks caused us to miss our exit and we had to take another exit and turn around. The storm ended once we'd gotten back on our way home, and there was this gigantic rainbow sticking almost straight up to the heavens. The sun was setting about then too, and it looked fantastic!
Not much else to say, and if there is, I'll say it later.

Evil Plot

It has come to my attention that there is an evil plot underway. Apparently, one Taylor Nielsen, is plotting ways to get people to email me.
This man's nefarious scheme must be stopped! At once!

To pledge your support and help, please email me at m*i*s*t*e*r*o*l*p*@*g*m*a*i*l.com
(astericks not included)
Please do not swear, no matter how strongly you feel about this numbskulls plot. Also, free digital candybars will be handed out. I don't know why, but they will.

Also, any robots will be shot.

Leaving

I'm going to Oregon City, Oregon on Monday, and I won't be back till Friday, so my Webcomic the Parallel won't update then. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

I may decide to tell you guys about the trip once it's over, but then, you never know.

New Webcomic!!

The first page of my new webcomic is up! Go here to see it: http://www.webcomicsnation.com/taylor/
I planned to update it on Tuesdays and Fridays, and I posted this first one late on Friday, but I've decided not to update on Tuesdays yet, and the Friday strip had to get uploaded again, due to problems with Webcomics Nation.
I plan to have a lot of fun with this Webcomic once I've really gotten into it; I'll have lots of fun cameos, as well as strange and random goings on, all somehow looped into the main plot, of course.
Wheee! So many exciting things will happen in it soon! I can't wait to draw them!

Efy

'The best week ever!' They said, and at first, the phrase annoyed me, as it seemed to be a tad too presumptuous, however, after the first day or so into Efy, I realized what they meant, and at the end, I wanted seconds.
For those who don't know, Efy (Especially For Youth) is a program for LDS (Mormon) teenage youth where you go to a College or University during the summer. They have different classes you can take where amazing teachers who are funny and inspiring teach you different Gospel concepts. Then there's various games, dances and other activities. Meh, it sounds rather boring when simplified like that.
I went to one in Tacoma Washington, at the University of Puget Sound last summer with my friend Colin, and we had a blast! We met all sorts of wonderful people, and not only had the best week ever, but the best counselor and group ever as well! Our group was called 'Lifted Up' as per their thing where you have to name your group using words from a scripture mastery verse. (Or, at least, I think it had to be from a scripture mastery verse, maybe it just had to be from any scripture verse.)I didn't particularly like the name at first, but once I'd grown fond of our group, the name didn't really seem to matter anymore. (^_^) Our counselor's name was Robbie, and he was a great guy; fun to be around, interesting, humble, and nice!
The classes were great, fascinating, and funny! The best teacher, however, was Bro. Rose; he had us all in stitches, and inspired us with some fascinating insights as well. After word had gotten around about his classes, they were constantly packed! Positive proof right there about how much everyone loved them!!
At the end I had grown to love the campus, the University of Puget Sound, their food, (Not to mention their cook, whom everyone called 'Big Momma')and especially the people I met and talked to. If anyone from my group is out there reading this, please, please, contact me! I so want to hear from you!
Anyway, it was great, and I just thought I'd mention it, especially being as it's getting close to Efy time again. (This time I'm going to one in Oregon, though. I can't remember which one.) I'll probably say more about where I'm going and when I'm going once it gets closer.
Please! Is anyone from our group out there? Email me!! Please?

Graboid

No, I'm not talking about the evil, monster that attacks people in the Tremors movies. I'm talking about a free method of watching stuff online that I use. It's really great and has lots of stuff to choose from. I can pick and download the shows or whatever that I want to see, and then see it in a big screen if I want too! Annddd, and this is one of the best parts for me, because I'm Christian, the free version doesn't have let you see any adult material, so I'm perfectly safe!
I must admit though, I mostly use it to watch Doctor Who, which is my favorite TV show, and which, unfortunately, isn't readily available in the US, especially on Netflix. (At least, most of the Classic Series isn't.) It's ability to let you watch things that are on VHS make it a great supplement to Netflix. You're allowed a certain amount of download time per month or so, but this can be increased by helping them out a little.

Graboid is nice, simple, and works well. The creators have a sense of humor too.

There really isn't much else to say.

RIP

I'm sorry to have to inform you poor readers of this, but today, at 12:17 A.M. Taylor Nielsen, the beloved author of this blog, passed away after choking on an overgrown Wombat that had accidentally fallen into his cereal. His orange juice was untouched, and will be sold on Ebay. His funeral will be tomorrow, and will be attended by everybody who can come, including his multiple clones. If you continue to get posts from this blog, that's just because a clone took over; not because the long awaited Return of Taylor has happened at last.
If you see Taylor in the street, don't pay any attention to him; it's just an imposter.

Sincerely, Somebody Other Than Taylor
